Flick magazine was the first New York magazine fully dedicated to covering adult films.

It was produced on a sporadic, not-quite-monthly basis – starting with the first issue in June 1975. It contained features on many of the more successful films of the era, including ‘Defiance’, ‘The Private Afternoons of Pamela Mann’, ‘Sometime Sweet Susan’, and ‘Anyone But My Husband’, as well as interview with stars such as Jennifer Welles, Sonny Landham, and Andrea True.

It also contained some great ads for products (‘Fulfill Your Wildest Dreams with the… Electronic Everything Doll’), self-improvement (‘Increase Yourself To Mammoth Dimensions with the… Peter Pump’), and potions (‘Free Spanish Fly Pills!’)

Here are the first eight issues of Flick magazine – available in their entirety.

Click on the covers below to access the full magazine. Due to the fact that the magazines are (mostly) scanned in high definition, allow a little time for each page to load. If you are viewing on a phone, view in landscape orientation.
